The starting point for your Hogan Leadership Insights program are Hogan’s 3 core assessments. These core assessments help us get to know you from 3 different perspectives – your normal day-to-day personality, your unhelpful derailing characteristics and your core values.

The Hogan Personality Inventory (HPI)

The HPI describes your normal or ‘bright-side personality’. This is how you perform and relate to others when you’re at your best, day-to-day. It will provide you with invaluable insight into your strengths, how you work and how you lead.

The Hogan Development Survey (HDS)

The HDS describes the ‘dark side of personality’ – those qualities that emerge in times of pressure or when you stop self-monitoring your behavior. Unchecked, these qualities can damage relationships, ruin your reputation and hinder your chances of success.
 
We call these qualities derailers and they’re often over-used strengths. When you’re under stress, the line between strength and weakness can become blurred. Drive can become ruthless ambition. Enthusiasm can become volatility. Attention to detail can become micromanaging.
 
Don’t worry – we ALL have some of these qualities – it’s quite normal. And they don’t have to derail your career. Insight from the HDS will help identify your critical blind spots and performance risks so that you can address them – before they become a problem.

Motives, Values, Preferences Inventory (MVPI)

The (MVPI) describes your personality from the inside. The values, drivers and interests that determine what you desire and strive for. As a leader, values are an essential part of your identity. They describe who you are, what you stand for and the environments in which you will flourish.
 
The MVPI will give you clarity on the following:
 
Your Drivers: Your values are your key drivers. The things that motivate you. They determine your aspirations and what you strive for in your professional and personal life.
 
Your Cultural Fit: Your values determine how well you will fit with any organisational culture. You’ll be happiest and most productive in cultures that are consistent with your values.
 
Your Leadership Style: Your values reflect what you find rewarding and pay attention to. Or what you dislike and avoid. This will influence the behavior that you like and reward. And the behaviour that you ignore or dislike. So, your values shape the kind of culture that you, as a leader, will create for your team.
 
Your Unconscious Biases: Values influence the decisions you make about people, projects, plans and strategy. Values filter perceptions of experience, especially about what is desirable or undesirable, good or bad.

You’ll receive an email invite to complete your HPI, HDS and MVPI online. Each one takes 20 minutes to complete.

Evaluation

I conduct a thorough evaluation of your Hogan assessments to identify your strengths, potential risks, values and motivators.

90 Minute Feedback Session

Here we explore the feedback and key themes from your 3 Hogan assessments. We’ll also examine what this feedback means for you in ‘real life’ and the next steps for your leadership development (via Zoom).

4 x Hogan Leadership Forecast Reports

Your personalised reports are emailed to you (HPI, HDS, MVPI and Coaching Report). These are Hogan’s flagship leadership reports designed to give leaders a robust understanding of their strengths, challenges and underlying motivators.
